This story was my entry in the 2012 [info]dysfuncentine, an anti-Valentine's Day fest that focuses on dysfunctional relationships. The writing prompt I selected was this one: "Every couple has their version of what they call the truth."

You'll find a more self-doubting Minerva than I usually write, but I think canon leaves space for an interpretation of her as isolated and uncertain (not professionally, but personally). And a self-hating Severus also seems plausible. I wanted to explore what sort of relationship these damaged people might have.

A/N: One more before I have to vanish into the mountains of work again. 
Summary: Human or feline, Minerva showed a confidence with her naked shape Severus found astounding.
Having shared a bed for months he still did not relish the undignified fumbling with his garments during the transition of naked Severus to dressed Professor Snape. Halfway into his trousers he decided that he would dispense with the problem by using magic in future and thus prevent becoming a figure of ridicule in his colleague's eyes.
Minerva, feet away, decided not to let him know what the light revealed of his shape, and how much she enjoyed seeing it in deference to her lover's sensibilities.

Hi,

please remove if inappropriate, but I'm looking for a lovely fic I read years ago but can't manage to remember the name of. It's a fic where both Snape and McGonagall have been deaged, to about their teenage years I think. She shows up at his place younger and somehow he also becomes deaged and they enjoy reliving their youth, and there are just sweet interactions between them.

the exact details are fuzzy, but I remember enjoying it and would love help figuring this out.
